If you are interested in doing a commissioned piece, please e-mail me here or use the form below!
When doing a commission, I insist that the photo be as large and of high a quality as possible. It can either be digital or a print, but the quality of the image must be there in order to capture the personality of the subject. It is equally important to me as it is to you and the smaller the image that I have of the subject, the less detail I can incorporate in the piece and the less accurate the color tends to be, if doing a color piece.
It may take anywhere from 2 to 8 weeks to complete the piece, depending on my schedule, the amount of detail and the size of the piece. Color pieces are done in either Acrylics, Watercolor or Prisma Color or you can choose the graphite/pencil medium if you wish, or combine any of the mediums I use together to make a piece that much more stunning. We can take all the time necessary to make these decisions together as it is as important to me, as it is to you, that you are thrilled with, and cherish the outcome!
When you commission the piece, a non-refundable down payment of one-half the purchase price will be required before work on the piece begins. I will email you a “proof” of the artwork to show you the finished piece. Once you have received a proof of the completed image, the remaining balance is due. Upon payment of the remaining balance, the piece will be sent to you, immediately. Payment for commissions can be made via Check (all funds must clear before delivery of product), Money Order, Certified Check. or PayPal.
Cost of packaging, shipping, insurance, and confirmation of delivery is additional. I do require shipping insurance and confirmation of delivery. Although framing may take a bit longer, custom matting and framing is available upon request for an additional cost. I deal with a frame shop that I judge as artists unto themselves and their work is impeccable, and highly professional. You will not be disappointed.
Please feel free to contact me anytime if you have questions. I look forward to creating a timeless and treasured piece for you!
